It is important to learn the academic strategies used by successful academics in order to reach your study, reading, research and writing goals.

  • Mature students may be concerned about gaps in their education.

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students may be passionate about their Indigenous heritage and want to learn strategies to communicate that.

  • School leavers will discover that university studies are very different from high school and need to learn the academic writing structures used by academics.

  • First in Family students may find that it's hard for their families to understand the amount and type of work involved.

  • Students with disabilities may need to learn specific strategies that will enable them to show their understanding and to succeed in spite of their disability.

  • Students using English as an Additional Language want to increase their ability in Academic English and face challenges in adapting to a different education system.

  • Many students are juggling work responsibilities, child care and so on. They may also be single parent families. We can help you save time with time management strategies and also because academic strategies help save time.

Also, we provide support based on an understanding of learning and technology that caters for students from remote areas and/or low socio-economic backgrounds where poor access to computers and the internet can hinder study.
