We are university lecturers with many years experience in teaching, particularly in academic language and learning. As lecturers in the Learning Development unit at University of Wollongong (UOW) we supported undergraduate and postgraduate students across many disciplines, with a special emphasis on Nursing, Medicine, Social Work, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities. Due to COVID19 our services are now available to support colleagues and students at Australian and international universities.

Carol (Priestley) provides proofreading, editing and/or copyediting for postgraduate students and researchers and also has many years experience teaching and editing for those whose first language is not English. She has a PhD in Linguistics and has published her own papers and a book, edited and/or copyedited books and other publications for leading linguists (for example, Anna Wierzbicka, Cliff Goddard and Bob Blust) and copyedited theses and publications for PhD and Masters students in a variety of disciplines.
